FAQ's & Pledge Tips
There is no need to register to participate in the Mother's Day Walk.
Pledge sheets can be downloaded and are also available at all participating cleo locations, or by calling the Breast Cancer Society of Canada at 1-800-567-8767.
As the walk participant, simply complete pledge sheet with name, address, phone number, e-mail and indicate which cleo store location. Please sign the waiver.
Using the pledge sheet give the first donation and ask donors to follow your lead.
Ask friends, family, clients and colleagues for a donation.
Collect payment when asking for the pledge.
On-line pledges can be processed through http://www.mothersdaywalk.ca/. Please follow the instructions provided on this site. Pledges will be accepted until Thursday, May 6th, 2010. The Breast Cancer Society of Canada will confirm all on-line pledges with you via email. Please include all on-line pledges and Breast Cancer Society of Canada verification on your master pledge sheet to ensure qualification of incentive prizes.
Bring your pledge sheet and donations to the cleo store or walk location on walk day (cash or cheques only). Please make all cheques payable to cleo.
BCSC incentive items not available on Walk Day will be mailed by August 31, 2010.
Tax receipts will be issued for amounts of $20.00 and over as requested. The Breast Cancer Society of Canada will make every effort to issue all eligible charitable tax receipts by
September 30, 2010 provided all necessary information is provided.
